The more traditional of our Au Jus mixes, Custom Culinary® PanRoast® Au Jus is the perfect complement to prime rib and French dip sandwiches. The rich, savory and full-bodied qualities of this superior Au Jus will ensure mouth-watering goodness from your steak and sliced or roasted beef. Also good in recipes in place of beef broth or meat stock, yielding a rich, roasted beef flavor. Excellent for basting and marinating.

Preparation and Cooking Instructions
Pour two quarts of warm water (100°F/38°C) into a saucepan. Gradually add one full bag (4 ounces) of mix to warm water, whisking thoroughly. Bring to a boil (212°F/100°C), stirring frequently. Reduce heat and simmer 3-5 minutes. Serve immediately or hold on steam table at 160° - 175°F/ 71° - 79°C. For Half Bag: In saucepan, gradually add 2 ounces of mix (1/3 cup, 2 tbsp) to 1 quart of warm water (100°F/38°C), whisking thoroughly. Continue with directions above.
