Ingredients

1 jar Custom Culinary® Master’s Touch® Beef Gravy Concentrate
1 1/2 qt. Water
2 cups Dark Beer

Recommended Product: 1731 Master’s Touch® Beef Gravy Concentrate

Alternate Product Options: 1762 PanRoast® Beef Flavored Gravy Mix, 1764 PanRoast® Brown Gravy Mix

Directions

  1. Combine water and dark beer and bring to a rapid boil; reduce heat.
  2. Immediately add 1 jar of Master’s Touch® Beef Gravy Concentrate and mix with a wire whip until sauce is smooth and thickened; remove from heat.

Chef's Tips

When substituting Pan Roast® Brown or Beef Gravy; increase the water to 3 quarts and the dark beer to 1 quart.

Goes well with grilled beef or pork. Sauce may also be used as a braising liquid for short ribs, shanks, or pot roast.
