Ingredients

Amount Ingredients
5 cups Flour, All-Purpose, Sifted
1 1/2 tsp. Salt
3 Tbsp. Baking Powder
1 cup Shortening, Chilled
2 cups Milk
2 oz. Custom Culinary® Master’s Touch® Southwest Flavor Concentrate
1 Tbsp. Chipotle Pepper, Minced
1 tsp. Black Pepper, Ground

Directions

  1. Combine flour, salt and baking powder together. "Cut" in cold shortening with knife. Make a well. Add milk at one time. Roll gently and quickly making 8-10 folds.
  2. Gently knead in Master’s Touch® Southwest Flavor Concentrate and peppers until blended. ***Do not over knead***
  3. Sprinkle flour on table. Roll out dough. Cut in strips. Twist strips and place them on a baking sheet. Bake at 400°F until crisp.
