Ingredients

5 lbs Pork Shoulder, Boneless, Trimmed
1/4 cup Vegetable Oil
2 cups Custom Culinary® Gold Label Fire Roasted Ranchero Sauce
2 each Slider Buns
2 Tbsp Coleslaw

Recommended Product: 9675 Gold Label Fire Roasted Ranchero Sauce

Directions

  1. Sear pork shoulder on all sides in vegetable oil over medium-high heat until evenly browned.
  2. Place in covered braising pan and pour Gold Label Fire Roasted Ranchero Sauce into pot. Cover.
  3. Braise in 250°F oven for 2-3 hours until meat is tender.
  4. Pull/shred meat and allow to cool in the cooking liquid to fully absorb the flavors. Remove extra fat as desired. Prepare ahead and hold in a steam table or chill and heat individual portions as needed.
  5. Place 1 Tbsp. of coleslaw on bottom of each bun and top with 2 Tbsp. pulled pork.

Optional Ingredients: Garnish with pickle wedge and potato chips.
