Ingredients

24 pieces Boneless Beef Chuck Roast, 8 oz. Pieces
2 cups Flour, All purpose
1/4 tsp. Black Pepper, Ground
1 cup Vegetable Oil
2 bags Custom Culinary® Gold Label Fire Roasted Ranchero Sauce (2 qt. Bags)

Directions

  1. Mix flour and pepper. Dredge beef in flour, coating thoroughly. Shake off excess flour.
  2. In a large braising pan, heat vegetable oil over medium high heat. Brown beef pieces evenly.
  3. Pour excess oil off beef and place browned beef in a roasting pan with a lid.
  4. Heat Gold Label Fire Roasted Ranchero Sauce. Pour both 2-qt bags over browned beef.
  5. Cover and place in a 350°F oven for 4-6 hours, stirring occasionally until short ribs are tender.
