Ingredients

3 qts. Water, Hot
28 oz. Custom Culinary® Whisk & Serve® Lobster Bisque Soup Starter
3 cups Mushrooms, Sliced, Cooked
4 cups Lobster Meat, Cooked, Chopped

Recommended Product: 1305 Whisk & Serve® Lobster Bisque Soup Starter

Directions

  1. In a 6-8 quart soup pot over medium high heat, heat water to a minimum of 190°F. Turn off the heat and gradually add one (28 oz.) bag of Whisk & Serve ® Lobster Bisque Soup Starter into the hot water, whisking thoroughly until thick and smooth.
  2. Let stand 2-3 minutes to fully thicken and stir just before service.
  3. Add mushrooms and seafood meat to sauce.

Optional Ingredients: Serve over pastry shells, noodles, or in an individual casserole dish.

Chef's Tips

Clams or shrimp can be used in place of lobster. For a richer consistency and flavor, substitute water with milk or cream.
