Ingredients

1 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil
1 oz. Garlic, Minced
2 # 10 cans Ketchup
1 gal. Water
4 oz Custom Culinary® Gold Label Beef Base
2 cups Rice Wine Vinegar
1 Tbsp. Tabasco Sauce
1 bottle (5-oz.) A.1. Sauce
2 lbs. Sugar
2 cups Sesame Oil

Directions

  1. In a 3 gallon sauce pot or 5 gallon steam jacketed kettle, heat oil over medium high heat. Add garlic. Cover and sweat garlic 3-5 minutes over medium heat, stirring frequently.
  2. Add ketchup, water, Gold Label Beef Base, vinegar, tabasco sauce, A.1. sauce and sugar, mixing well. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat and gently boil 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add sesame oil, mixing well. Gently boil 3-5 minutes, stirring frequently.
