Ingredients

1/4 cup All Natural Canola Oil
10 oz Onions, Yellow, Fine Diced
2 oz Celery, Fine Diced
12 oz All Natural Unbleached All Purpose Flour
1 gal Water
6 oz Custom Culinary® Master’s Touch® All Natural Reduced Sodium Clam Base
1 51 oz. can Chopped Sea Clams, Canned
3 lbs Potatoes, Medium Diced
1/2 gal Organic Half & Half

Recommended Product: 5507 Master’s Touch® Reduced Sodium Clam Base

Directions

  1. In a 4 gallon stock pot over medium high heat, sauté onions and celery 2-3 minutes in oil until onions are translucent.
  2. Add flour, blend completely.
  3. Add water and Master’s Touch® All Natural Clam Base. Blend thoroughly with a wire whip to eliminate lumps. Add clams and potatoes. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer 10-12 minutes. (Do not overcook potatoes).
  4. Finish with cream, simmer 2-3 minutes.
