Wasabi Ginger Ponzu Slider Trio

An enticing starter perfect for a small bite before the main course. Featuring Custom Culinary® Gold Label Wasabi Ginger Ponzu, Wasabi Ginger Ponzu Slider Trio combines the flavors of glazed minced salmon burger, grilled chicken, crab cake, and mango wasabi ginger ponzu sauce on slider buns.

  Glazed Minced Salmon Burger:
2 oz. Salmon, Fresh, Minced
1/2 Tbsp. Red Onion, Minced
2 Tbsp. Custom Culinary® Gold Label Wasabi Ginger Ponzu Sauce
1 each Slider Bun
  Grilled Chicken Breast:
2 oz. Chicken Breast, Boneless, Medallion
1 Tbsp. Custom Culinary® Gold Label Wasabi Ginger Ponzu Sauce
1 each Slider Bun
  Crab Cake:
2 oz. Crab Cake, Prepared, Cooked
1 each Slider Bun
  Mango Wasabi Ginger Ponzu Salsa:
1 tsp. Tomato, Small Diced
1 tsp. Red Onion, Small Diced
1 Tbsp. Fresh, Ripe Mango, Peeled, Small Diced
1 tsp. Jalapeño, Fine Diced
1 tsp. Cilantro, Fresh Chopped
1/2 Tbsp. Custom Culinary® Gold Label Wasabi Ginger Ponzu Sauce
PREPARATION

  1. For Glazed Minced Salmon Burger: Blend salmon, minced red onions and 1 Tbsp. Gold Label Wasabi Ginger Ponzu Sauce. Form into patty and pan sear until fully cooked. Glaze with 1 Tbsp. Gold Label Wasabi Ginger Ponzu Sauce.
  2. For Grilled Chicken Breast: Grill chicken breast. Finish glaze with 1 Tbsp. Gold Label Wasabi Ginger Ponzu.
  3. For Crab Cake: Pan sear or bake crab cake until fully cooked. Top with Mango Wasabi Ginger Ponzu Salsa (see recipe below).
  4. For Mango Wasabi Ginger Ponzu Salsa: Blend tomato, diced red onions, mango, jalapeño, cilantro and ½ Tbsp. Gold Label Wasabi Ginger Ponzu Sauce. Refrigerate until needed.
  5. Assemble each slider on a toasted slider bun.
