Thai Style Thickened Vinaigrette

1-1/2 cupsPassport Global Flavors by Custom Culinary® Thai Style Broth
1-1/2 Tbsp.Corn Starch
2 Tbsp.Rice Vinegar
4 Tbsp.Vegetable Oil
2 Tbsp.Lime Juice
1 Tbsp.Gold Label Savory Roasted® Vegetable Base
1 Tbsp.Fish Sauce
PREPARATION

  1. In a small sauce pot before heating, blend Thai Style Broth with cornstarch whisking to fully dissolve.
  2. Place on medium high heat and while stirring continuously, cook 3-4 minutes until the mixture is fully thickened and the cloudy color has turned clear. Taste to assure the starch flavor has been cooked out. Finished mixture should be a thick glaze consistency.
  3. Remove from stove and chill.
  4. When chilled, in a medium mixing bowl, whisk rice vinegar, vegetable oil, lime juice, Savory Roasted® Vegetable Base, fish sauce with chilled thickened Thai Style Broth. Taste and adjust seasoning as desired.
