What You'll Need

Oil, canola, or vegetable

Cabbage, purple, shredded. ¼”
4 oz
Mushroom, shitake, sliced, ½”
2 oz
Carrots, julienned, ¼”
3 oz
Peppers, bell, red, julienned, ¼”
8 oz
Chicken, breast, cooked, shredded

Lettuce, green leaf, large cups

PREPARATION
Preheat a large skillet or wok for 2-3 minutes and add oil.
Quickly sauté veggies for 1-2 minutes or until they are warmed through but still crunchy.
Place vegetables in a large plastic storage container in a single layer to cool.
Mix cooked chicken gently with the cooked and cool vegetables and mound entire mixture into on side of a meal kit-style disposable container.
Place the lettuce cups on the other side of the kit, and place 2 pouches of the chili garlic sauce next to the lettuce cups.
Add the chow mein into 2 soufflé cups with covers and place into the meal kits.
Place the plastic lid on the meal kit.
This dish is ready to eat as-is and can be shared cold or the chicken and vegetable mixture can be heated for 1-2 minutes in a hot sauté pan or the microwave uncovered.
The sauce can be opened and drizzled over each lettuce cup topping each cup with crunchy chow mein noodles.
