Tequila Citrus Chicken

Featuring Custom Culinary® Master’s Touch® Roasted Garlic Flavor Concentrate and Custom Culinary® Gold Label Chicken Base, Tequila Citrus Chicken consists of tequila, triple sec liqueur, lemon, lime, chicken, bell peppers, banana peppers, and jalapenos.

1/4 cup Vegetable Oil #1
2 Tbsp. Tequila
2 Tbsp. Triple Sec (Orange) Liqueur
2 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
2 Tbsp. Lime Juice
1/2 Tbsp. Custom Culinary® Gold Label Chicken Base
1 lb. Chicken Breast, Boneless, Large Julienne Cut
8 oz. Chicken Thigh Meat, Large Julienne Cut
2 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil #2
1/2 tsp. Custom Culinary® Master’s Touch® Roasted Garlic Flavor Concentrate
1 cup Red Bell Peppers, Julienne Cut
1 cup Yellow Banana Peppers, Julienne Cut
2 Tbsp. Jalapeno Peppers, Fine Diced
1/8 cup Cilantro, Fresh Chopped
PREPARATION

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine, vegetable oil (#1), tequila, triple sec, lemon juice, lime juice and Gold Label Chicken Base. Blend thoroughly.
  2. Add chicken breast and thigh meat, cover and marinate refrigerated 1-2 hours.
  3. Fifteen minutes before serving, sauté chicken meat in a hot Teflon coated pan over medium high heat. Cook 5-7 minutes until chicken is fully cooked. Remove from heat and set aside.
  4. In a separate large sauté pan over medium high heat, sauté, peppers in oil (#2) and Master’s Touch® Roasted Garlic Flavor Concentrate until just tender approximately 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add cooked hot chicken, toss and finish with cilantro.
