Stout Chicken Gravy

The perfect accompaniment with bold and rich flavors to add to a protein or side dish. Featuring Custom Culinary® PanRoast® Chicken Flavored Gravy Mix, Stout Chicken gravy combines the rich flavors of stout beer, garlic, thyme, and black pepper.


What You'll Need

Amount Ingredients
3 qts. Water, Warm 100°F
1 qt. Stout Beer
1 Tbsp. Garlic, Minced
2 Tbsp. Thyme, Leaf
12 oz. Custom Culinary® PanRoast® Chicken Flavored Gravy Mix
1 tsp. Black Pepper, Ground
PREPARATION

  1. In a 6 quart sauce pan over medium high heat, warm water and stout beer, garlic and herbs for 1 minute. Do not boil.
  2. Gradually add 1 full 12 oz. bag of PanRoast® Chicken Flavored Gravy Mix, whisk thoroughly.
  3. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Reduce to a simmer and cook 3-4 minutes to release the alcohol. Add black pepper, stir frequently.
  4. Remove from heat and serve hot or chill quickly to below 45°F and refrigerate until needed.
