Quick Kimchi

A quick kimchi with great heat and a nice smoky flavor, featuriing Custom Culinary® Bibimbap Sauce.
 

What You'll Need

Yield: 1 lb.

QTY INGREDIENTS
1 lb Cabbage, Napa
1 tsp Salt
½ cup Custom Culinary® Bibimbap Sauce
¼ cup Seasoned Rice Vinegar
½ tsp Sesame Oil
PREPARATION

  1. Coarsely chop then wash the cabbage. Drain and pat mostly dry.  A little moisture is ok. 
  2. Place cabbage in a bowl and toss with salt.  Let rest 1 hour, stirring 2 or 3 times.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the bibimbap sauce, vinegar and sesame oil, then add to the cabbage. Do not drain the excess liquid from the cabbage.
  4. Stir well to coat and let rest at least 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
