What You'll Need

2/3 cup Butter or Olive Oil
1-1/2 cups Carrots, Medium Diced
1 cup Celery, Medium Diced
1-1/2 cups Onions, Medium Diced
1 cup All-Purpose Flour
3 qts Water
8 oz. Custom Culinary® Master’s Touch® Herb Roasted Au Jus Concentrate
1-1/2 lbs Steak, Grilled, Small Diced, Any Over-Production or Trim Beef Steak or Roasted Beef
2 cups Tomatoes, Diced or (optional) Canned, Diced in Juice, Drained
2 cups Potatoes, Peeled, Medium Diced
1/2 tsp - to taste Black Pepper, Ground
PREPARATION

  1. In a 2 gallon cook pot over medium high heat, melt butter. Add vegetables and sauté 5-6 minutes until onions are tender.
  2. Add flour and cook 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  3. Add water, Custom Culinary® Master’s Touch® Herb Roasted Au Jus Concentrate, grilled meat, tomatoes and potatoes. Heat to boiling, reduce heat to medium and simmer 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally until potatoes are just tender.
  4. Adjust seasoning with black pepper.
