Southwest Style Corn Chowder

A robust combination of hearty flavors that bring warmth anytime of the year. Featuring Custom Culinary® Master’s Touch® Southwest Flavor Concentrate and Custom Culinary® Whisk & Serve® Corn Chowder Soup Mix, Southwest Style Corn Chowder consists of green chilies, tomatoes, and black beans.


What You'll Need

Amount Ingredients
4 qts. Water, Hot
3 Tbsp. Custom Culinary® Master’s Touch® Southwest Flavor Concentrate
27 oz. Custom Culinary® Whisk & Serve® Corn Chowder Soup Mix
2 cups Diced Green Chilies, Canned
2 cups Diced Tomatoes, Canned, Drained
1 qt. Black Beans, Canned, Drained, Rinsed
PREPARATION

  1. In a 6-8 quart soup pot over medium high heat, heat water to a minimum of 190°F. Turn off the heat, add Master’s Touch® Southwest Flavor Concentrate, and gradually add one (27 oz.) bag of Whisk & Serve ® Corn Chowder Mix into the hot water, whisking thoroughly until thick and smooth.
  2. Return to heat and simmer 10-15 minutes.
  3. Add green chilis, tomatoes, and black beans just before serving.
