A perfect complement to prime rib and French dip sandwiches. The rich, full-bodied qualities of this economical Au Jus will ensure mouth-watering goodness from your steak and sliced or roasted beef. Great in recipes in place of beef broth or meat stock, yielding a rich, roasted beef flavor. Use it for basting and marinating also.

Preparation

To prepare soup or broth, dissolve 1 lb. of Base in 3 gallons of boiling water. For a smaller quantity, dissolve 1-1/2 teaspoons of Base in 8 fluid ounces of boiling water or 4 ounces of Base in 3 quarts of boiling water.
