A “mother sauce” with a rich, appetizing color, that can be used to create a number of signature sauces by varying added ingredients, such as red wine, wild mushrooms, fresh herbs, and cracked bell peppers.
For best results use Masters Touch Demi-Glace Sauce Concentrate at room temperature. Mix 13.6 oz (386 g) Sauce Concentrate with 2 quarts water as follows: Bring 2 quarts of water to a rapid boil; reduce heat. Immediately add 1 jar of Sauce Concentrate and mix with a wire whip until sauce is smooth and thickened, remove from heat.
