Asian Breakfast Porridge

Exotic ingredients brought together to add intense flavors in a familiar application. Featuring Custom Culinary® Thai Style Vegetable Broth, Asian Breakfast Porridge combines the flavors of pork, Thai chilies, fish sauce, lime juice, cilantro, green onion, and egg together in one bowl.

What You'll Need

Amount Ingredients
2 cups Pork, Trimmed, Boneless, Cooked, Diced
1/2 cup Custom Culinary® Thai Style Vegetable Broth
8 cups Jasmine Rice, Prepared, Chilled
1/2 cup Green Thai or Serrano Chili, Fine Diced, Cooked
2 Tbsp. Fish Sauce
1/4 cup Lime Juice, Fresh
1/2 cup Cilantro, Chopped
1/2 cup Green Onions, Thin Sliced
10 ea. Eggs, Prepared as Desired

  1. In a food processor, pulse-grind the pork until course texture.
  2. In a saute pan over medium high heat, saute coarse chopped pork
  3. Add rice and Thai Style Vegetable Broth and cook until hot.
  4. Add Thai chilies and fish sauce, toss until evenly blended and heated.
  5. For each portion, finish with 1 Tbsp. of lime juice, cilantro, and green onion. Top with either poached or over easy egg.
