A herb-forward seafood soup with clams, mussels, and crab simmered in a green broth made with True Foundations® Latin Herb Liquid Concentrate, finished with avocado, serrano, and citrus.

Recipe Ingredients

Yield: 6 Bowls

1 lb. Manilla Clams
1 lb. Mussels
1 cup Crab Meat or White Fish
3 Garlic Clove thinly sliced or minced
½ White Onion diced
½ cup Custom Culinary® True Foundations® Latin Herb Concentrate
2 qts. Fish or Seafood Stock
1 cup Dry White Wine
1 cup Cilantro, chopped
1 Avocado sliced
2 Serrano Peppers thinly sliced
½ Lemon juiced
   
PREPARATION

  1. In a large pot on medium-low heat, sweat garlic and onion until translucent,
  2. Add Latin Herb Liquid Flavor Concentrate and parsley. Sauté for a few minutes.
  3. Add the wine, and reduce it for a few minutes. 
  4. Add the mussels and clams, stir.
  5. Add the stock and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  6. Add the crab meat.
  7. Serve with avocado slices, serrano pepper, and lime juice.
