5 lbs. Pork Shoulder, Boneless, Trimmed
2 oz. Vegetable Oil
1 cup Custom Culinary® Gold Label Fire Roasted Ranchero Sauce
1 cup Custom Culinary® Gold Label Latin-Style Citrus Chili Sauce
PREPARATION

  1. In a large braising pan over medium high heat, sear pork shoulder on all sides in vegetable oil until evenly browned.
  2. Place in a ceramic crock pot or covered braising pan.
  3. Pour Gold Label Fire Roasted Ranchero Sauce and Gold Label Latin-Style Citrus Chili Sauce into crock pot. Cover and turn on high. Let braise 6-7 hours until meat is very tender. (If oven braising, cook at 250°F for 5-6 hours.)
  4. Pull/shred meat and allow to cool in the cooking liquid to fully absorb the flavors.
