Chef's Own® Pork Barbecue Spice
1 cup
Brown Sugar, Dark
5 lbs.
Cavendish Farms Freshcut Chips (or sliced potatoes)
PREPARATION
Mix the Pork Barbecue Spice and brown sugar together and set aside.
Heat oil to 350° F.
Fry the chips until golden brown, approximately 4 minutes.
Remove the chips from the oil, place them on a paper-towel-lined sheet pan, and quickly dust them with the spice mix.
Serve immediately, or store in an air-tight container at room temperature for up to five days.
CHEF'S TIP
Substitute your choice of fries for the chips.
