Water, tap, cold

Custom Culinary® Gold Label Low Sodium Vegetable Base

Quinoa, golden
1 c.
Quinoa, red
PREPARATION
Place water and vegetable base into a medium saucepan.
Stir to dissolve base.
Add quinoa and bring to medium boil.
Cover and reduce heat to low and cook for 10-20 minutes or until liquid is fully absorbed.
Remove from heat and allow to rest.
Once rested, gently fluff hot quinoa with fork. Serve immediately or hold for service.
CHEF'S TIP
Feel free to sub out your favorite quinoa varieties into this recipe.
For a more manicured high end presentation, cook both quinoa varieties separately in smaller pans with the water and base divided equally following the same preparation instructions above.
