Chicken Paitan-Style Ramen

A robust combination of hearty flavors that bring warmth anytime of the year. Featuring Custom Culinary® Gold Label Savory Roasted® Chicken Base, Chicken Paitan Ramen consists of ramen noodles, chicken, tofu, mushrooms, spinach, green onions, and soft-boiled egg.

What You'll Need

8 oz Water
¾ tsp Custom Culinary® Gold Label Savory Roasted® Chicken Base
 ½ cup Dashi
3 oz Ramen Noodles, cooked per package instructions
2 oz Tofu, pressed, ½ cubes
4 oz Chicken Thigh, boneless, skin-on, pan-seared and sliced
1 oz Baby Spinach, sauteed
1 oz Shiitake Mushrooms, sliced and roasted
1 Tbsp Green Onion, sliced on the bias
 ½ tsp Red Chili Flakes
1 ea Egg, soft-boiled, cut in half
PREPARATION

  1. Dissolve chicken base in boiling water.
  2. In a large soup bowl, pour chicken broth and dashi over cooked ramen noodles.
  3. Begin to layer the sliced chicken, tofu, shiitake mushrooms, and spinach around the noodles.
  4. Garnish each bowl with red chili flakes and sliced green onions.
  5. Finish with a split soft boiled egg.
