Maryland Style Shrimp Bisque

Indulge in the delicious flavors of Maryland Style Shrimp Bisque, made with Custom Culinary® Whisk & Serve® Instant Cream Soup & Sauce Starter and Custom Culinary® Gold Label Shrimp Base. This delectable soup combines the rich taste of sherry wine, cayenne pepper, old bay seasoning, bacon, kernel corn, and succulent shrimp.


What You'll Need

Yield: 4 3/4 quarts

Amount Ingredients
5 qt. Water
20 oz. Custom Culinary® Whisk & Serve® Instant Cream Soup & Sauce Starter
4 oz. Custom Culinary® Gold Label Shrimp Base
1 oz. Dry Sherry Wine
1/8 tsp. Cayenne Pepper
1 Tbsp. Old Bay Seasoning
1 cup Bacon, Cooked, Chopped
2 cups Kernel Corn
PREPARATION

  1. In a 2 gallon soup pot over medium high heat, blend water and Whisk & Serve® Instant Cream Soup and Sauce Starter, stir and bring to a boil. Cook 1-2 minutes until fully thickened.
  2. Add Gold Label Shrimp Base and blend thoroughly.
  3. Add old bay seasoning, bacon, and corn.
  4. Add sherry wine and cayenne pepper.
