Amount Ingredients
¾ lb. Custom Culinary® Gold Label Chicken Base
4 gal. Water, Hot
2 lbs. Chicken, Cooked, Diced
1 lb. Celery, Diced
1 lb. Carrots, Shredded
2 lbs. Onions, Diced
1 # 10 can Tomatoes, Crushed, Diced
1 tsp. White Pepper, Ground
2 lbs. Barley, Uncooked
1 cup Parsley, Fresh, Chopped
PREPARATION

  1. Combine hot water and Custom Culinary® Gold Label Chicken Base, mixing well.
  2. Add carrots, celery, onions, tomatoes, barley, and white pepper, mixing well. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to a gentle boil. Gently boil 1 hour stirring occasionally.
  3. Add diced chicken and parsley. Gently boil for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
